History

2003. Customised OEM solutions for the Global market

GD'Tronics applies all of its experience and is gradually expanded in other forms of applications, like OEM solutions of monitor-chassis for display systems manufacturers, public & passenger information displays, industrial monitors etc

2002. Efforts to become global

This year finds GD'Tronics focused in the development of a Global shape, which assists in the expansion to international markets.

2001. Evolution of Widescreen monitors

The most advanced edition of MDM Plus Monitor-chassis Series is presented. This is MDM Plus 28"-33" SVGA Widescreen (16:9) Pure Flat which take advantage of the latest generation of CRTs which are 100% flat with aspect ratio 16:9 in sizes 28" and 33". Moreover, they are available for operation in vertical and horizontal position.

2000. New Millennium, new series of monitors

For the new millennium, GD'Tronics presented a brand new monitor-chassis, using once again the leading edge of technology: dynamic focus, colour temperature adjustment and use of the new generation of tubes with small dot pitch. This is MDM Plus series, which is our main product base. In addition the website of GD'Tronics is launched.

1998. The first digital monitor

Remaining in the leading part of the struggle for technology development, we continued our collaboration with Julio Falleri's engineers-designers team, the first digital monitor-chassis for the gaming industry was born, a monitor-chassis that offers all the capacities of a PC monitor to its users.

1996. CE certification for GD'Tronics' products

After necessary improvements, the company acquired a CE certification, class B for all its products.

1990. High Tech is applied by GD'Tronics

Following a formal application of our company and the competent response of the official committee of the Ministry of Industry, the permanent deployment of our unit in the Attica basin was permitted. This decision was taken on the grounds of the modern technology and advanced production methods our company employs.

1988. First series of monitors for non-stop operation

In collaboration with a team of Italian electronics engineers under the guidance of Julio Faleri, the MCG series monitor-chassis was designed and went immediately into production.

1986. The early days

GD'Tronics was founded by George D. Dounis. Our company was mainly engaged in designing and manufacturing monitor-chassis, initially for the coin-op videogames industry, a highly promising field at the time. In parallel we were targeting in other forms of applications, like public information displays, studios etc. In the same year, the first Greek monitor-chassis was built

Policy

GD'Tronics follows an innovative policy focusing in quality and flexibility. Making the best of the know-how and experience arising from exclusive engagement in the monitor-chassis industry, it succeeds in its main principle, of direct contact and satisfaction of the customer /co-operator.

As part of its effort to implement this policy, GD'Tronics gives primary role to the monitor-chassis, which have been designed with the advantage of being used under a wide range of screens of various sizes and types. The main policy of GD'Tronics is to manufacture monitor-chassis for clients, which are display systems manufacturers as well as gaming machines manufacturers.
